32! 32! 32!

No, there's nothing special about number 32, but I'm a little hyper tonight finishing packing for the Bahamas :)) Plus I got lots of sleep last night, which helps.........

Anyway, even though I was busy hunting I still got lots of stuff done today. I also did:

• Categorized and added somethings to my loves list... I'm pretty sure I'll never be done with this... How can you make just *one* list of the things you really love?
• Started categorizing my blogging themes and contemplating my theme schedule. I like this one, I think it's going to make blogging a lot simpler and less of an "inspiration hit!" kind of thing. I also am super excited to know about the post scheduling so that I can write my posts and have them automatically post on the days I'd like them too. Also really excited about a couple of the new themes.
• Started working on my 'Branding Project'. This one I think will be a little more difficult, but interesting at the same time.

I didn't get my blog post written, so maybe I'll get that done tomorrow. Or Tuesday morning on the plane if I can get my eyes open. Tonight in the deer stand I also started thinking about my "Client Story". I think this'll be another fun assignment

Tomorrow:

• Work some more on my blogging schedule
• Write blog post if possible
• Keep working on the Branding Project

Everyone have a rad and productive Monday... I'm excited because it's the fall sports break, so I don't have any stories to write for the paper... :D)

Day 31

I didn't do anything today other than finishing a blog post for this upcoming week and hunt. I didn't even go out this evening, because I have a headache and slept instead :(

Tomorrow is my "day off" but I'd still like to:

• Write Thursdays blog post so I don't have to do that in the Bahamas
• Categorize my love's list
• Start my blogging theme schedule
• Finish packing

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope it's a blessed one.

Day Thirty

Today I'm more hopeful :) And ready to take on the world, and dream up a storm!

I had my call with Christina and I'm excited about these assignments.

I started my loves list... boy I'm pretty sure that I need to stop somewhere. hehe
And organized my assignments so that I know what I have to work on while I'm gone.

Tomorrow:

• Deeeer Hunting, which means up early, sittin' out in the quiet cold, thinking and praying and enjoying the things God made... like a sunrise, which I rarely get to see other times of the year. And hoping that something comes along :)

As for goals:

• Add some more to my loves list
• Start rating my Master Systems list
• Talk to my friend about setting up a shoot for her to do the makeup and hair and me the photography for her portfolio and for advertising for me.... fun times!

Twenty nine- One of those days

One of those days. Where nothing seems feasible. I didn't get anything done, and instead thought about how many different things I want to do, and how many places I want to go, and how they just aren't reasonable. So I think I should go to bed and maybe I'll wake up more hopeful and driven and excited.....

Tomorrow I have my call with Christina and then I'll see what I'm going to plan after that.....

Goodnight everyone!

{update: I forgot.....I *did* blog on my public blog this morning :) www.kelleyjoimaging.blogspot.com }

A Two and an Eight

Today I didn't get much done other than figuring out internet connections and *trying* to do my skype call, but it not happening {and I was actually really excited about it!}

I did get a couple more thing done on my strengths.

Tomorrow I want to:
• FINISH those strengths
• Blog on my public blog
• Figure out my harddrive issues
• Maybe read some more on the Tipping Point since I don't have my call until Friday now

Next on my to-do list for tonight.....sleeping :D

Number 27

Oh today is just not my day :P Things are starting to turn around though; Got the internet working, my break pads aren't going to be as much as I thought, and a friend sent me some info to try and fix my harddrive =)

This is last nights post... but since my internet wasn't working, it's going up today.

______________________________________________________________________________

Today something clicked. I was sitting with my sister in Culvers helping her do a paper for her interspersonal communication class where she had to observe two strangers in converstaion and record their non-verbal commmunication.  I'm sitting there watching people and trying to work on some assignments at the same time, and felt absolutely no creativiity what so ever.

So I did what I usually do when something like that happens. I wrote. This is what ended up coming out.

I feel like I have no creativity. What happens when I don't, when I'm not feeling inspired, and I have to go to a shoot? I just go, and don't worry about it, and I start to get excited about the people I'm shooting, and as that happens I become creative with the things that I have. even if it's at a playground, and even if they don't have happen to be my favorite people.

People inspire me.

People inspire me because stories inspire me and each person has their own story to tell.

People inspire me to write stories.

Stories inspire me to visualize images to go wtih them.

Old things inspire me because they once belonged to another person and, to me, they represnet unknown stories.

Vintage things inspire me to imagine the people behind them.

And people inspire  me to write stories.

So basically I found that I'm inspired by three things:

Vintage things, Stories, and People

I'm not sure why that was such a revelation, but it was. I'm also not sure why it took me this long to realize it. I've always been a very imaginative person, and when I was little my favorite thing to do was make up stories in my head. But I was terrible at telling them because, although i didn't realize it at the time, they weren't stories made of words, they were stories made of pictures.

Anyway, I thought I'd shar the little "ah ha" moment that I had, sitting in Culvers, watching Ed and Helen enjoy their food and communicate without words ;) [It's kinda like the moment where I realized that I'm a very visual person... you'd have thought that would have been obvious considering I'm a visual artist, but it wasn't]

Today I:

• Finished my 20 offerings and what it means to my clients
• Came up with another blogging theme. I still have two to go.
• Started more ways my strengths could help my business
• Wrote some thoughts on the Tipping Point
• Finished the five words I think describe me and got feedback from one of my friends

Tomorrow I would like to:

• Finish my strengths (although I'm struggling on this one)
• Start comparing all me "Fives"; my five offerings, five values, five strengths and five personality traits
• And talk to Christina {this one didn't get done... oh for working internet :P }

Number 26

Oh it was such a gorgeous day out... I really don't think I want winter to come yet! But it's way cold at night, so it's on it's way......

Today I worked on:

• Twenty offerings and what it means for my clients
• Pulled out the different pieces of my dream business (and realized how many more dreams I have... if only we didn't have *any* limitations)
• Came up with the five words that I think describes me, and talked to some people about getting theirs
• Decided on a few more blogging themes
• Replied to a friend of the family that would like family portraits taken
• Blogged ( http://kelleyjoimaging.blogspot.com/2010/11/ellie.html )
• and started a packing list for *hot* climates :)))

Tomorrow:
• Finish my blogging themes
• Gather some more thoughts on the Tipping Point
• Work on my five strengths
• Finish my Twenty offerings and how it affects my clients

I'm thinking big tomorrow!

• I'm going
